During his Washington visit, the Palestinian president showed Trump maps from Israel’s talks with the Palestinians near the end of Olmert’s term.

Ron Lauder tells Israeli officials: Trump 'very determined' to reach peace deal – Amir Tibon – Haaretz 08.05.17
Lauder, who has reportedly been advising Trump on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, also said Trump believes he can convince Abbas to accept a deal.
