Fifteen contractors were called for an urgent mission at the end of the Six-Day War: demolish the Mughrabi neighbourhood to provide access to the Kotel. Fifty years later, their stories have come to light. In one house, an elderly woman named Haja Ali Taba’aki was found dead in her bed.
