The occupation has its own language: An Arab is a 'terrorist,' detention without trial is 'administrative,' the occupying power is forever the victim and writing about its crimes is treason. Only a minority of Israelis are happy about the existence of the occupation, but the majority aren’t perturbed by it in the least. Few of them have any conception of what it is.
