Gassim died at home – Naomi Chazan – The Times of Israel 24.04.17
Gassim Barry, who lived in Israel for the last 13 of his brief 25 years, died a month ago in Tel Aviv without ever realizing his greatest wish: to be granted resident status in the country. An asylum seeker until his very last day, Gassim was laid to rest in Jaffa; in the only place he called home.
