In Israel, EcoPeace Middle East, the Israel Bicycle Association and Green Course organised events in Tel Aviv and simultaneously at the Kineret on 27 November 2015 to ensure clean energies get the attention they deserve. Participants formed huge green hearts, calling on the Israeli government to commit to reducing emissions and to set a high goal for renewable energies. The Tel Aviv marchers were addressed at Rabin Square by the French Ambassador, the Israeli Environment Minister and other members of the Knesset. EcoPeace Water Trustees represented the future generation with an inspiring speech about environmental peace building in three languages - Hebrew, Arabic and English.
In Australia, Jews participated with hundreds of thousands of others in People’s Climate Marches and events in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Newcastle, Perth, Canberra and other locations.
