Donald Trump is not a distraction. He is the thing our tradition teaches us to resist. Beinart's letter is to the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, which calls itself the ‘voice of organised American Jewry.’ In Australia, Jews and their leaders are also witnessing growing Islamophobia.
