Knesset approves 'NGO Transparency Bill' in first reading – Haaretz 09.02.16 Provision requiring NGO representatives to wear identifying tags removed at PM Netanyahu's request. But despite request by PM to expand legislation to include all NGOs that receive foreign donations, version passed on 8 February applies solely to non-profits that receive more than half their funding from foreign governments.
