In their meeting in Brussels this week the 28 foreign ministers of European Union countries expressed their support for the French initiative and for the convening of an international conference by the end of the year, in order to restart Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. They also agreed that the EU would put together a package of economic, security and diplomatic incentives over the next few months.
