He doesn’t really care about the Mideast conflict. He wants a grandiose foreign policy achievement and is approaching the issue with no sentiments whatsoever. His predecessors failed and perhaps he wants to show that he - the great Donald - is the only one who can do it. He will try to subdue not only Abbas, but also Netanyahu, because as he learned in the business world: ‘friends get no discounts’.
