Electronic, paper and social media have been running hot in recent days with news of the elusive graffiti artist’s new Israeli-Palestinian project, The Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, which will open for guests on 12 March.

The Walled Off Hotel features artworks exploring the Israel-Palestine conflict. Banksy wants it to host exhibitions by Palestinians artists to encourage dialogue with young Israelis and says people from all sides of the conflict are welcome to stay, and he is not affiliated to any political party or pressure group.
